The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) is the state-owned oil and natural gas corporation in Azerbaijan engaged in upstream, midstream and downstream activity, as well as natural gas supply and sale of petrochemical products in domestic and international markets. As legal entities, three production unions, two petroleum and a gas refinery, oil fleet, deep water jackets' plant, two trusts, 22 subdivisions, including one institution, operate under SOCAR.
