The Information Engineering and Management (IEM) at UAB was designed by Industry leaders to meet the needs of working professionals looking for leadership and growth opportunities. UAB's Information Engineering and Management (IEM) graduate program provides clients the opportunity to enhance both technical AND business skills required in today's business world. The program reflects the needs of today's marketplace: demanding, flexible and integrated. As an IEM client(We consider our students to be our clients) you will share in the knowledge of a diverse and experienced group of peers and faculty while being continually exposed to relevant, new ideas and real world solutions. As a result, you will be better equipped to manage your career path as you evolve throughout the program. All IEM faculty bring real world experience to the program and provide executive coaching to each client as part of the IEM Experience. Weekend ProgramWeekend classes and an emphasis on coaching and a collaborative learning environment make the IEM program ideal for motivated professionals looking to take their career to the next level. Classes meet for approximately one weekend per month (Friday and Saturday). The program commences with a three day seminar held in August. Clients complete the program in 20 months earning a Master's of Engineering (MEng) degree.
