UWV (Employees' Insurance Implementation Institute) stands for optimal task execution in the areas of work, reintegration, temporary income and data management. We are responsible for the implementation of all unemployment and work ability laws, such as the Work and Income to Work Ability Act (WIA), the Disability Insurance Act (WAO), Wajong (Work Disability Provision for Young Disabled Persons Act), Self-Employed Persons Act (ZWA), the Unemployment Insurance Act (WW) and the Sickness Insurance Act. As of 1 January 2009 the former CWI (Centre for Work and Income) has been merged with UWV, we are responsible for the implementation of all work ability and unemployment activities in the newly established UWV WERK division. Thanks to our partnership with our clients, we have been able to work efficiently and efficiently for 314,000 people in the Netherlands. We have been able to ensure that our customers have a better perspective of their future.
