BCR

BCR (acronym for Romanian Commercial Bank - in Romanian, Banca Comerciala Romana), member of Erste Group, is a universal bank, addressing both to retail and corporate clients. It is the most important banking institution in Romania, managing assets of more than 16 billion EUR. BCR offers the full range of products for the population and currently holds over 560 retail units (for the natural persons and the micro companies) in most Romanian towns with more than 10.000 inhabitants. The corporate clients are served through a network of 41 commercial centres, tailored for SME clients and large corporate clients. The bank has a complex offer of products and services, including internet banking, phone banking and e-commerce services. BCR issues 24 types of credit and debit cards and has an operational network of 2.200 ATM's and more than 13.500 POS terminals. BCR is also the most important financial group of Romania, being active on the Romanian market and abroad through subsidiaries and branches on the leasing, shares, asset management, private pensions and housing markets.
