ICA Gruppen´s core business is retail. The Group includes ICA Sweden and Rimi Baltic which mainly conduct grocery retail, ICA Real Estate which owns and manages properties, ICA Bank which offers financial services and insurances, Apotek Hjärtat which conducts pharmacy operations. The Group also includes Hemtex, a company in home textile. In 2016 ICA Gruppen had net sales of around SEK 104 billion and more than 22,000 employees, most of them in Sweden and the Baltic region. Around 50,000 people work in offices, with logistics or in one of ICA´s own or retailer-owned stores. ICA Gruppen´s share is listed in the Large Cap segment of NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. The largest shareholder at the end of the 2016 was ICA-handlarnas Förbund (the Association of ICA Retailers).
