Summary Info on Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. İşbank was founded by Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on the date of 26.08.1924. In the 91 years since its foundation, the Bank has made significant contributions to our country and taken various parts in our country's development in many different fields, particularly in industry and trade. By the end of 2015, as the largest private bank in Turkey that has more than 25 thousand employees; around 1,400 local and overseas branches; the largest Bankamatik network in Turkey consisting of over 6,000 Bankamatiks; mobile banking, internet banking, telephone banking, and call center services, İşbank has provided its clients with access to banking services in the fastest way possible, and with the opportunity to choose, from a very wide range of financial products, the most convenient ones offered to them by the Bank and its affiliates. İşbank Members'​ Supplementary Pension Fund founded by the Bank's employees holds the largest share of İşbank's capital with 40.15%. A portion of 31.76% of the Bank's stocks are on free float. As of 31 December 2015, İşbank has direct participations in 25 companies. In addition to its overseas branches in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, United Kingdom, Georgia, Kosovo, Iraq and Bahrain, İşbank is also in service with its subsidiaries İşbank Germany and İşbank Russia. İşbank has two representative offices, one in China and one in Egypt as well.
